RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 FOR THE
TRANSFER STATION BRIDGE PROJECT (CWF08-530-03); FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Earth
Builders LP with a total estimated cost of $280,486.00; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 increased the contract by $19,566.00, and this
Change Order No. 2 will increase it an additional $48,569.00, bringing the revised total
cost of the contract to $348,621.00; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Change Order No. 2 for the Transfer Station Bridge Project
(CWF08-530-03) is hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized to make
amendments to this contract.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
