RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 2007-2008
BUDGET OF THE WICHITA FALLS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,513 TO COMPLETE SEWER
LINE EXTENSION AND PUMP INSTALLATION AT THE WICHITA
FALLS BUSINESS PARK; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation met on May
9, 2007 to consider a proposal from Wichita Contractors for the extension of sewer line
� and pumps to serve the Old Dominion facility in the Business Park; and
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation
recommended a budget amendment to their 2007-2008 Budget for an additional
amount of $20,513 to resolve the actual price extended by a contractor and a previous
engineer's estimate of $60,320.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The 2007-2008 Budget of the Wichita Falls Economic Development
Corporation is hereby amended by an additional $20,513 to complete sewer line
extension and pump installation to serve the Old Dominion property at the Business
Park.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
