RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE GREGG
ROAD AND LANGFORD LANE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT CWF08-
442-09; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTUION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Gregg Road and Langford Lane Improvements Project CWF08-442-09; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is McGrath Brothers
Concrete, who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $2,486,671.10; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of McGrath Brothers Concrete, with an estimated
total of $2,486,671.10 is hereby accepted and approved, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of
such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this, the 15th day of April, 2008.
