RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE 2007-2008
BUDGET OF THE WICHITA FALLS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION FOR YTO USA, TRYER PROCESS EQUIPMENT AND
THE PURCHASE OF FOUR LOW-FLOOR TRANSIT BUSES; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation met on April
11; and
WHEREAS, The Board considered and approved requests from YTO USA, Tryer
Corporation, and a request for a local match for the purchase of four low-floor buses;
and
WHEREAS, The 2007-2008 Budget of the Wichita Falls Economic Development
Corporation requires amendment for appropriation of the money needed to fund these
agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The 2007-2008 Budget of the Wichita Falls Economic Development
Corporation is hereby amended for the projects and amounts as followed:
YTO USA - $1,209,000
Tryer Processing Equipment - $112,000
Local Match for Low-Floor Busses - $268,000
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
