Resolution awarding bid and contract for the Cypress 1987 Water
Treatment Plant Filter Control, Filter Valve and Clarifier Weir/Launder
Improvements Project to J.S. Haren Company in the amount of
$547,000.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Cypress
1987 Water Treatment Plant Filter Control, Filter Valve and Clarifier Weir/Launder
Improvements Project, CWF17-542-13; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is JS Haren Company,
which made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $547,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the Cypress 1987 Water Treatment Plant Filter Control,
Filter Valve and Clarifier Weir/Launder Improvements Project, CWF17 -542-13 is
awarded to J.S. Haren Company, in an estimated total amount of $547,000.00, and the
City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the
construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 21st day of February, 2017.
