Resolution awarding bid and contract for the 2017 Asphalt Street
Rehabilitation Project to Oldcastle Materials Texas, Inc. in the
amount of $1,597,516.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the 2017 Asphalt
Street Rehabilitation Project (CWF17-100-02); and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Oldcastle Materials
Texas, Inc., who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $1,597,516.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the 2017 Asphalt Street Rehabilitation Project (CWF17-
100-02) is awarded to Oldcastle Materials Texas, Inc., in an estimated total amount of
$1,597,516.00, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City
with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 21st day of February, 2017.
