Ordinance making an appropriation to the Special Revenue Fund for
the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program in the amount of
$12,000 received from the Department of State Health Services and
authorizing the City Manager to execute contract accepting same
WHEREAS, the Health District and the Department of State Health Services
desire to enter into a contract for the transition of technology in the WIC program; and,
WHEREAS, approval of these funds could not have been anticipate d prior to the
adoption of the 2016 - 2017 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $12,000 for the
Women, Infants and Children Program, and the City Manager is authorized to enter into
a contract with the Department of State Health Services for the Wichita Falls -Wichita
County Health District.
