RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF A TIRE
SERVICE TRUCK TO WICHITA FALLS FREIGHTLINER , IN THE AMOUNT OF
$138,281.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the purchase of a
tire service truck; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 5, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a tire service truck for the City's fleet
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of a tire service
truck to Wichita Falls Freightliner in the amount of $138,281.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
