RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWENTY (20) FORD CROWN
VICTORIA POLICE PATROL VEHICHLES FROM GRAND PRAIRIE FORD IN
THE AMOUNT OF $422,580.00; AND ONE (1) FORD EXPEDITION FROM
PURITT FORD IN THE AMOUNT OF $21,498.00. FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS
PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the purchase of
twenty (20 ) Ford Crown Victoria police patrol vehicles and one (1) Ford Expedition; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on February 11, 2008 and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase twenty (20) Ford Crown Victoria Police
Patrol Vehicles and one (1) Ford Expedition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of twenty (20)
Ford Crown Victoria Police Patrol Vehicles to Grand Prairie Ford in the amount of $422,580.00;
and one (1) Ford Expedition to Pruitt Ford, in the amount of $21,498.00,
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
