Res 022-2008 2/19/2008 RESOLUTION NO. 22-2008
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AWARDING BID TO A. INMAN CONSTRUCTION IN THE AMOUNT
OF $401,104 FOR THE RENOVATION OF MARTIN LUTHER KING CHILD
CARE CENTER.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, funds were included in the 2006-07 CDBG budget to make improvements
to the Martin Luther King Child Care Center; and
WHEREAS, bids received exceeded original budgeted amounts; and
WHEREAS, modifications to the CDBG budget have been approved to provide
adequate funding for this project, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve the low bid submitted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. An award of bid for the MLK Child Care Center Renovation Project is
hereby made to A. Inman Construction in the amount of $401,104.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
