RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AMENDING THE 2007-2008 BUDGET OF THE WICHITA FALLS
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $367,000
TO EQUIP THE WICHITA FALLS BUSINESS PARK WITH ELECTRICITY,
NATURAL GAS AND HIGH-SPEED INTERNET SERVICES; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS
PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation met on February 11,
2008 to consider proposals for extending electricity, natural has and high-speed internet
services to the Wichita Falls Business Park; and
WHEREAS, The Board has recommended an amendment to the 2007-2008 Budget in
the amount of $367,000 to pay for these extensions; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The 2007-2008 Budget of the Wichita Falls Economic Development
Corporation is hereby amended in the amount of $367,000 to pay for the extension of
electricity, natural gas and high-speed internet services.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
