RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANGER TO EXECUTE AN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE REGION 4 EDUCATION SERVICE
CENTER AND THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASING NETWORK FOR THE
PURCHASE OF CERTAIN SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES;
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS
PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority granted by Article 791 et seq. of the Interlocal
Cooperation Act, Local Government Entities may enter into interlocal agreements for the
purchase of supplies, equipment and services, and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and The Region 4 Education Center and The
Cooperative Purchasing Network desire to enter such an agreement, the goal being to obtain
cost savings and reduce time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is granted for the City Manager to execute an interlocal
agreement contract with The Region 4 Education Center and The Cooperative Purchasing
Network for the purchase of certain supplies, equipment and services.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution as passed was open to the public as required by law.
