RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR THE KELL WEST
EXTENSION UTILITY RELOCATION PROJECT (CWF08-550-01); FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Bowles
Construction Co. with the estimated total cost of $277,862.00; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 will reduce $150,029.00 from the contract for a revised
cost of $127,833.00; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and feels that it
is in the City's best interest to approve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Change Order No. 1 for the Kell West Extension Utility Relocation Project
(CWF08-550-01) is hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized to make amendments
to this contract.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.

12" water main was deleted.
8. Item 6.7.3.(u)-8 decreased by 1 cut and plug of the existing 8" water main $ 600.00 $ - $ (600.00)
when the water line at FM 369 did not need to be abandoned.
9. Item 6.7.3.(u)-10 Deleted cut and plug of the existing 10" water main whe $ 700.00 $ - $ (700.00)
