RESOLUTION APPROVING ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT TO URS
CORPORATION FOR THE DESIGN AND ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES
ASSOCIATED WITH TAXIWAY "A" AND TAXIWAY A-4 CONNECTOR AT
KICKAPOO DOWNTOWN AIRPORT; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to enter into an engineering services
contract for the installation of marking lights along Taxiway "A" and improving aircraft
movement by installing an A-4 Connector taxiway located at the Kickapoo Downtown Airport;
and
WHEREAS, URS Corporation is proposing to do this work for the amount of
$136,265.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The engineering services contract from URS Corporation for the design
and engineering activities associated with taxiway "A" lighting and connectors at Kickapoo
Downtown Airport, is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
