RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE KELL WEST EXTENSION
UTILITY RELOCATION PROJECT CWF08-550-01; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS
PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falis has advertised for bids for the Kell West
Extension Utility Relocation Project CWF08-550-01; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Bowtes Construction
Co. made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $277,862.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of Bowles Construction Co. with an estimated total
of $277,862.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which
this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
