Resolution awarding the bid for the purchase of three Pierce
Enforcer Custom Fire Pumpers and one Pierce Ascendant Custom
Fire Ladder Truck to Siddons-Martin Emergency Group, LLC through
the Buyboard Purchasing Cooperative in the amount of $2,523,310
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Siddons-Martin Emergency Group is
offering three Pierce custom fire pumpers and one Pierce custom ladder truck through
the Buyboard Cooperative Purchasing Program; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Local Government Code §252.022
exempts items purchased through interlocal cooperative purchasing contracts from the
State’s competitive bidding requirements ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase
three Pierce custom fire pumpers and one Pierce custom ladder truck through the
Buyboard Purchasing Cooperative from Siddons-Martin Emergency Group, LLC in the
amount of $2,523,310.00.
