Resolution awarding bid to Geograph Industries, Inc. for the Phase II
Wayfinding Signage Project, and authorizing the City Manager to
execute a contract in a total amount that shall not exceed $558,487
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls properly advertised and requested bids for
the purchase, fabrication and installation of Exterior Signage for Phase II of its
Wayfinding Signage Program; and,
WHEREAS, the City’s consulting partner, fd2s evaluated each bid to ensure that
each bid was complete; and,
WHEREAS, the City received a low bid from Geograph Industries, Inc. in the
amount of $558,487 for the 84 signs identified in Phase II of its Wayfinding Signage
Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Geograph Industries, Inc. is selected as the successful bidder in its proposal for
the Phase II Wayfinding Project, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract, in a form approved by the City Attorney, with said bidder in a total amount that
shall not exceed $558,487.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7th day of February, 2017.
