RESOLUTION TO INCREASE THE LONG-TERM PARKING RATE
FROM $2.00 TO $3.00 AT WICHITA FALLS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the current long-term parking rate at Wichita Falls Municipal Airport
is $2.00 per visit; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends to the City Council to increase the long-term
parking rate to $3.00 per visit on March 1, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the Council is responsible for setting the fees, charges, and fare
structures for services rendered by the city.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The Wichita Falls City Council hereby adopts the proposed
increase in the long-term parking rate from $2.00 to $3.00 per visit at Wichita Falls
Municipal Airport with an effective implementation date of March 1, 2009.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
