RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AWARDING CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK
SERVICES TO ELECTRA CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION, INC. FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE WICHITA FALLS FIRING RANGE; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The City of Wichita Falls, TX desires to use the Construction
Manager at Risk procurement process for the Wichita Falls Police Department Firing
Range; and
WHEREAS, A Request for Qualifications was released for Construction Manager
at Risk services; and
WHEREAS, A committee of City staff, and the City's principal architect on the
project conducted interviews with the four firms that submitted qualifications for the
project; and
WHEREAS, The committee is recommending Electra Construction Corporation,
Inc. as the City's Construction Manager at Risk for the Wichita Falls Firing Range.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Construction Manager at Risk Services for the Wichita Falls Firing
Range is hereby awarded to Electra Construction Corporation, Inc.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
