RESOLUTION NO. _93-2011__
Resolution Approving Change Order No. 7 To The Cypress Water
Treatment Plant 2010 10MGD Conventional Treatment Plant Project
(CWF07-544-06), Which Will Provide For Changes To The Scope Of
Work In A Net Amount Of $101,210.38
WHEREAS, on August 4, 2009, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a unit price
contract with Archer Western Contractors, Ltd. for the Cypress Water Treatment Plant
2010 10MGD Conventional Treatment Plant Project (CWF07-544-06) at an estimated
total cost of $42,686,000.00; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 7 would increase the contract amount by
$101,210.38, for a revised cost of $45,182,993.24; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and feel
that it is in the City’s best interest to approve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 7
The attached to the Cypress Water Treatment Plant 2010
10MGD Conventional Treatment Plant Project (CWF07-544-06) is approved, with
changes as approved by the City Attorney, in the amount of $101,210.38, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute said change order.
