ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SPECIAL
REVENUE FUND FOR TUBERCULOSIS CONTROL RECEIVED FROM THE
DEPARTMENT OF STATE HEALTH SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,370
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY
LAW.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District has received
notice of the availability of Tuberculosis grant revenue from the Department of State
Health Services; and
WHEREAS, the Public Health District desires to receive these funds to continue
providing heatth care services to eligible clients; and
WHEREAS, the award of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the FY 2008-2009 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated into the Special Revenue Fund $8,370
for the Tuberculosis grant.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
