Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Tender
Agreement with Hudson Insurance Company in order to complete
the Phase 1: Hike and Bike Trail from Seymour Highway to Lucy Park
Project
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls terminated its contract with Mega Prime
Contractors, Inc., and made demand on the Performance Bond issued by Hudson
Insurance Company, and Surety has arranged for completion of the Project by retaining
McGrath Concrete Construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the necessary documents, as
approved by the City Attorney, so as to enter into a Tender Agreement with Hudson
Insurance Company in order to finish the Hike and Bike Trail Phase 1 Project from
Seymour Highway to Lucy Park.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of November, 2016.
