Ordinance Of The City Council Of The City Of Wichita Falls, Texas,
Making An Appropriation To The Special Revenue Fund For Ryan
White Part B Grant Funding In The Amount Of $217,950 To be
Received From Tarrant County, Texas, And Authorizing The City
Manager To Execute A Contract Accepting Same.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District (Health
District) has received notice of the availability of Ryan White Part B grant revenue from
Tarrant County, Texas; and
WHEREAS, Health District and Tarrant County, Texas desire to enter into a
contract for HIV preventative services; and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2008-2009 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $217,950 for the
Early Intervention Program, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract
with Tarrant County, Texas and other documents necessary to receive and administer
such grant funding for the Health District, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney.
