RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
TALI S, TEXAS. TO ACCEPT THE SCOTLAND SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENI PROJECT PHASE 2 AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO BOWLES CONSTRUCTION CO., FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS. the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Bowles
Construction Co. with the estimated total cost of $518, 717 00 and
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $509,58997 of
which 499.398.17 has been previously paid to the Contractor, leaving an amount due of
$10,191.80, and
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT.
SECTION 1. The Scotland Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project Phase 2 is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
