RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION AREA FENCING PROJECT (CWTP), CWF 03- 544 -26;
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of The Construction Area Fencing Project (CWTP); and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Wall Enterprises,
Inc. who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $43,730.00; and
WHEREAS, a value engineering adjustment is proposed reducing the estimated
total to $41,000.00 (deductive Change Order No. 1), and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Said unit price bid of Wall Enterprises, Inc., with an estimated total
of $41,000.00, adjusted by Change Order No. 1, is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the
construction of such project.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
