RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FY 2002 -2003
BUDGET FOR THE WICHITA FALLS (413) SALES TAX CORPORATION
FOR A TWO -\A /AY RADIO PROJECT; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has completed a Request For Proposal
process and presentations and demonstrations for a two -way radio systeim; and
WHEREAS, the 4B Board of Directors met on Thursday, September 4, 2003, to
consider funding for a two -way radio project; and
WHEREAS, the 4B Board has authorized this project in the amount of
$6,627,611 and recommends an amendment to the Corporation's FY 2002 -2003
budget to include an appropriation of $6,627,611 necessary for the purchase of a two -
way radio system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The FY 2002 -2003 budget of the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax
Corporation is hereby amended to include an appropriation of $6,627,611 for a two -way
radio system.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by 4aw.
