RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE ELEVATOR REPLACEMENT
PROJECT (CWF 03- 100 -08) AND AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO
THYSSENKRUPP ELEVATOR CORPORATION; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a lump sum contract with
ThyssenKrupp Elevator Corporation with the estimated total cost of $70,587.00, and
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $69,953.00, of
which $62,958.00 has been previously paid to the contactor, leaving an amount due of
$6,995.00, and
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The Elevator Replacement Project (CWF 03- 100 -08) is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
