RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AWARDING BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE NORTH
BEVERLY AND LAKE KICKAPOO PUMP STATION REWIRE AND
MOTOR STARTER REPLACEMENT PROJECT (CWF 03- 550 -27);
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the North Beverly and Lake Kickapoo Pump Station Rewire and Motor Starter
Replacement Project (CWF 03- 550 -27); and
WHEREAS, it was found that the lowest responsible is EMD Electrical, Inc. who
made a unit price bid with a total of $16,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Said unit price bid of EMD Electrical, Inc. with an estimated total of
$16,000.00 is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
