RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING A PIPELINE LICENSE WITH THE
BURLINGTON NORTHERN AND SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY FOR
A WATER LINE CROSSING AT ALEXANDRIA STREET; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to have a water line crossing of the
Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company Right -of -Way at Alexandria Street,
and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined the proposed Pipeline License with the
railway company for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The Pipeline License for a crossing of the right -of -way belonging to
Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company is hereby approved. The City
Manager is authorized to execute the agreement for the City of Wichita Falls and to
make a payment of $3,500.00 to the railway company.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
