Ordinance Appropriating To The Special Revenue Fund For Ryan
White Part C Grant Funding $56,764 for the Early Intervention
Program And Authorizing The City Manager To Execute A Contract
And All Other pocuments Necessary To Receive Said Funds From
Tarrant County For The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Health District
Pursuant To The Ryan White Part C Grant
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District ("Health
District") has received notice of the availability of Ryan White Part C Grant Revenue
from Tarrant County, Texas; and
WHEREAS, Health District and Tarrant County, Texas desire to enter into a
contract for HIV preventative services; and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2008-2009 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Ryan White Part C Grant Special Revenue
Fund $56,764 for the Early Intervention Program, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute a contract and all other documents necessary to receive said funds from
Tarrant County for the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Health District pursuant to the Ryan
White Part C Grant.
