RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
AGREEMENTS WITH TENANTS AT KICKAPOO DOWNTOWN
AIRPARK FOR HANGAR AND GROUND RENTALS, FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, a Rates and Charges Study was recently performed at Kickapoo
Downtown Airpark and found that current rates at Kickapoo Downtown Airpark are
inconsistent among tenants using similar facilities, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to implement a new method of establishing hangar
and ground rental rates which will provide for fair and consistent rates for airport facility
users and which will comply with Federal Aviation Administration policies regarding
airport rates and charges and the use of airport revenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute agreements with
tenants at Kickapoo Downtown Airpark For Hangar and Ground Rentals.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
