RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FY 2002 -2003
BUDGET FOR THE WICHITA FALLS (413) SALES TAX CORPORATION FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF A PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING CENTER; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS
PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors for the Wichita Falls 413 Sales Tax
Corporation met on February 13, 2003 to consider the City's request for project
approval and funding for construction of the Public Safety Training Center; and
WHEREAS, the 4B Board has approved amending the Corporation's budget for
FY 2002 -2003 to include an appropriation of $4,659,349 necessary for the estimated
construction fees for the Public Safety Training Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The FY 2002 -2003 budget of the Wichita Falls 413 Sales Tax
Corporation is hereby amended to include an appropriation of $4,659,349 necessary for
the estimated construction fees for the Public Safety Training Center.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
