RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING A CONFLICT OF INTEREST WAIVER
FOR A CITY EMPLOYEE QUALIFYING FOR VARIOUS U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FUNDED
PROGRAMS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls must make full public disclosure of any
conflict of interest that exists for employees that may gain a financial interest or benefit
from programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development,
and,
WHEREAS, an employee of the City of Wichita Falls has applied for assistance
under programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development;
and,
WHEREAS, this employee does not exercise any functions or responsibilities
associated with the program; and,
WHEREAS, this employee is not in a position to participate in the decision -
making process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The conflict of interest provisions under these various U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development Programs are hereby waived for this
City employee.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
