RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TORO
GROUNDSMASTER LAWN MOWERS THROUGH THE BUYBOARD
TEXAS LOCAL GOVERNMENT PURCHASING COOPERATIVE FROM
PROFESSIONAL TURF PRODUCTS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $56,976.00;
F=INDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, local governments are authorized by Chapter 791, et seq., The
Interlocal Cooperation Act of the Government Code, to agree with other local
governments to form purchasing cooperatives; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase four (4) Model 328D
Groundsmaster riding lawn mowers, and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to purchase through the BuyBoard
Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
_S ECTION 1 . Authorization be granted to purchase of four (4) Model 328D Toro
Groundsmaster mowers from Professional Turf Products, in the amount of $56,976.00.
S ECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
