RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR TWO (2) TRUCK
MOUNTED SEWER JET MACHINES IN THE AMOUNT OF $243,468.00
TO WICHITA FALLS FREIGHTLINER; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of two (2) truck mounted sewer jet machines; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on March 10, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase truck mounted sewer jet
machines for the maintenance of the City's sewer and storm drainage system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
S ECTION 1 . Authorization be granted to award the bid for two (2) truck mounted
sewer jet machines to Wichita Falls Freightliner in the amount of $243,468.00.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
