RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE 2003
CDBG STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT (CWF 03- 204 -01);
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTUION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the 2003 CDBG Street Rehabilitation Project; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Freeman
Construction who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $492,442.00.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of Freeman Construction, with an estimated total
of $492,442.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of the 2003 CDBG Street
Rehabilitation Project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this, the 15` day of April, 2003.
