Ordinance Of The City Council Of The City Of Wichita Falls, Texas,
Appropriating $70,000 To The Special Revenue Fund For The Women
Infant and Children Program Of The Wichita Falls-Wichita County
Public Health District.
WHEREAS, the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Program of the Wichita Falls-
Wichita County Public Health District has generated additional program income through
increased participation and higher state reimbursement levels; and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of 2008-2009 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Women Infant and Children Grant Special
Revenue Fund an additional $70,000 in program income for the WIC Program.
