RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, WARDING BID AND CONTRACT TO ELECTRA
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE WICHITA
FALLS PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING CENTER; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Wichita Falls Public Safety Training Center; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Electra Construction
Co., who made a lump sum bid with a total of $3,885,374.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Said lump sum bid from Electra Construction Co., with a total of
$3,885,374 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of the Wichita Falls Public
Safety Training Center.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
