Ordinance Of The City Council Of The City Of Wichita Falls, Texas,
Appropriating $381,303 For A Community Development Block
Grant—Recovery Program From The United States Department Of
Housing And Urban Development.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls wishes to improve the quality of water
service to its residents, and
WHEREAS, a Community Development Block Grant — Recovery (CDBG-R)
program funding has been received from the federal government as an economic
recovery project that is "shovel ready" and will serve low and moderate income
households.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Grant funds in the amount of $381,303 from the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development are hereby appropriated to operate the CDBG - R program in
accordance with applicable federal regulations.
