RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR A 2 -TON CAB &
CHASSIS IN THE AMOUNT OF $41,510.00 TO WICHITA FALLS
FREIGHTLINER; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING
AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of a 2 -ton cab & chassis; and,
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on April 16, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a 2 -ton cat) & chassis to be
customized with a winch and accessories for pulling large pumps and motors for
maintenance and repair.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
S ECTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award the bid for a 2 -ton cab & chassis
to Wichita Falls Freightliner in the amount of $41,510.00.
S ECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
