RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE REHABILITATION OF
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1229 WILLIAMS TO TAYLOR HOME
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $29,910.00, AND FOR THE
REHABILITATION OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 910 ROOSEVELT TO ELVIN
DUDLEY HOMES OF DISTINCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF
$26,721.00; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
rehabilitation of property located at 1229 Williams and 910 Roosevelt; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on May 9, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to rehabilitate these properties under the
Urban Homesteading Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
S ECTION 1 . Authorization is granted to award of bid for the rehabilitation of
property located at 1229 Williams to Taylor Home Improvements in the amount of
$29,910.00, and for the rehabilitation of property located at 910 Roosevelt to Elvin
Dudley Homes of Distinction in the amount of $26,721.00.
S ECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
