RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE WATER
INTRUSION PROJECT (POLICE DEPARTMENT); FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Water Intrusion Project (Police Department); and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Santa Rosa
Construction Co. who made a lump sum bid with an estimated total of $18,950.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
S ECTION 1 . Said lump sum bid of Santa Rosa Construction Co, with an
estimated total of $18,950.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
_S ECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
