RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AWARD OF BID FOR THE
PURCHASE OF THREE (3) PROGRESSING CAVITY PUMPS FROM
CF ENGINEERED EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $39,954.00;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for three (3)
progressing cavity pumps; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on June 19, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase three (3) progressing cavity
pumps for digester sludge circulation at the River Road Wastewater Treatment plant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Authorization is hereby granted to award bid for the purchase of
three (3) progressing cavity pumps from CF Engineered Equipment in the amount of
$39,954.00.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
