RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AWARDING BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE
REMODELING OF FIRE STATION No. 2 PROJECT (CDBG) CWF 03-
204-11; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Remodeling
of Fire Station No. 2 Project (CDBG); and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Norman R. Bratcher
Construction Co., who made a lump sum bid with an estimated total of $176,825.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Said lump sum bid of Norman R. Bratcher Construction Co., with
an estimated total of $176,825.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of
the Remodeling of Fire Station No. 2 Project (CDBG).
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of July, 2003.
