RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, CONSIDERING AN AMENDMENT TO THE WICHITA
FALLS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION'S FISCAL YEAR
2002 -2003 BUDGET FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING A
BUSINESS PARK; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation has
considered and accepted a recommendation to acquire and develop land for the
development of a business park in Wichita Falls; and
WHEREAS, land acquisition and initial development costs for a business park
will require an amendment to the Corporation's Fiscal Year 2002 -2003 Budget in the
amount of $1,503,894.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . The Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation Fiscal Year
2002 -2003 Budget is hereby amended in the amount of $1,503,894 for the purpose of
developing a business park.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
