RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY'S PARTICIPATION IN THE
U.S. COMMUNITIES GOVERNMENT PURCHASING ALLIANCE FOR
THE PURCHASE OF OFFICE SUPPLIES; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls uses office supplies on a daily basis; and
WHEREAS, the U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance offers the
City a broad range of high quality products; and
WHEREAS, the aggregate purchasing power of over 5,000 public agencies
affords the City the best price; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase office supplies at the best
possible value.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Authorization is hereby granted for the City's participation in the
U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance for the purchase of office supplies.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
