Resolution authorizing award of bid for the City’s estimated annual
supply of aviation fuels to Phillips 66 Company at Kickapoo
Downtown Airport
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for its
estimated annual requirement of aviation fuels; and,
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on July 29, 2016; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase aviation fuel for its Kickapoo
Downtown Airport customers; and,
WHEREAS, Phillips 66 was the only vendor to submit a bid to the City of Wichita
Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase of the City’s estimated
annual requirement of aviation fuels to Phillips 66 Company for the period ending
October 18, 2021.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18th day of October, 2016.
