Resolution awarding Professional Services Agreement to Freese and
Nichols, Inc. for Engineering Services for the Cypress 1987 Water
Treatment Plant Filter Control, Filter Valve, and Clarifier Weir/Trough
Improvements Project in the amount of $73,400.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has determined that Freese and Nichols,
Inc. is qualified to provide Engineering Services for the Cypress 1987 Water Treatment
Plant Filter Control, Filter Valve, and Clarifier Weir/Trough Improvements Project; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the Engineering Services to complete the sampling,
testing, and reporting for the Cypress 1987 Water Treatment Plant Filter Control, Filter
Valve, and Clarifier Weir/Trough Improvements Project is an estimated total of
$73,400.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The engineering services for the Cypress 1987 Water Treatment Plant Filter
Control, Filter Valve, and Clarifier Weir/Trough Improvements Project is awarded to
Freese and Nichols, Inc., in an estimated total amount of $73,400.00, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the
design of such project.
