Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute contracts with
several community service organizations and organizations that
promote the convention and tourism industry
WHEREAS, the 2016-17 Adopted Budget includes funds for several community
service organizations and organizations that promote the convention and tourism
industry; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into contracts with these agencies
to provide the terms and conditions for the use of these funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into contracts with the following
organizations in the amounts specified below:

Teen Court General $ 5,000
Child Care Incorporated
(Operations) CDBG $ 117,161
Senior Citizens Services of North

Christmas in Action CDBG $ 75,000

Wichita Falls Arts Alliance Hotel/Motel $ 79,720
River Bend Nature Works Hotel/Motel $ 6,000
Fantasy of Lights Basketball Hotel/Motel $ 6,500
Wichita County Mounted Patrol Hotel/Motel $ 5,000
