Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an Interlocal
Cooperation Agreement between the City of Wichita Falls and
Wichita County for the collection of ad-valorem taxes.
WHEREAS, the City has contracted with Wichita County for property tax
collection services since 1993; and,
WHEREAS, the rate charged by the County for these services has remained the
same since the original agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the cost to provide these services has increased since that original
agreement; and,
WHEREAS, an increase in the rate charged by the County is still in the best
interest of the City of Wichita Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute the attached Interlocal Cooperation
Agreement between the City of Wichita Falls and Wichita County for Ad-Valorem Tax
Collection Services.

Unit and the County. Accordingly,the parties do not intend any persons who are not named in this paragraph to have
authority to enforce any provision of this agreement.
